Whilst it does lack some features that would be considered important - such as 3G in the European market - Apple have promised to keep updating the iPhone by adding new features at regular intervals.

When the Apple's Steve Jobs announced the iPhone, he said to expect three things;

1. A cell/mobile phone way ahead of its rivals.

2. The best iPod yet made.

3. A complete mobile internet device that will fit in your pocket.

Well, the iPhone does lack certain features as a phone, but hey, I just want it to make calls on anyway. And what it might lack as a phone it sure makes up for as an iPod.

Holding between 1000-2000 songs, depending if you buy the 4GB or the 8GB, there is plenty of room for all your favourite tunes.

As an internet device, it does makes some great strides forward. The huge screen is cool. The safari web browser is easy to use. And it does sync well with your computer, whether that be PC or Mac.

Overall, it's the most advanced handheld media player on the market at the moment. And it definitely has the cool factor.

Although it is not perfect, it is way ahead of its rivals and looks like the iPhone is assured of a sunny future.

And with the regular add-ons Apple will release, I'm sure all the complaints people have will soon be sorted out.
