iPhone Screen
Apple has always been a leading light in the world of technology and the iPhone screen is no exception. While the iphone deals out there in the markerplace might not be the most inexpensive, we try and keep a balanced view to see if it's worth the money. Let's have a look at it's most important features;
Size 3.5 inches diagonal corner to corner. Currently the biggest of any smartphone. However the LCD will drain your battery faster.
Resolution The screen is 320 pixels across and 480 pixels high, wth a 160 ppi (pixels per inch) pixel density. Not brilliant, but not bad. Fairly typical really.
Interface The iphone screen keyboard is multi-touch. This new technology should not be confused with 'touch screen'. Multi-touch takes things fto a whole new level by allowing touches at multiple points - as opposed to one at a time - to affect controls like zoom or scrolling without the need for sliders or zoom buttons or anything of like that.
Conclusion Well, the size and resolution of the screen isn't exactly ground-breaking. And it is a drain on the battery. But the size of the screen makes up for it in many ways. It's massive! Also, the multi-touch interface is sooooo cool. Multi-touch is revolutionary and all mobile handsets will probably go this way. It is great for watching movies on.
