The Meizu iPhone Copy

China's iPhone copy, the Meizu miniOne, is certainly starting to make waves.

The Meizu phone is promising to be almost identical in style and features to Apple's device.

It has meant to have the no-button interface. It runs mobile software that the iPhone wouldn't. It works with nearly every worldwide cellphone carrier, not just the companies that Apple have exclusive deals with.

It promises to cost around half as much as the iPhone - about £100($200) - and it will be available to 10 times as many consumers due to it being unlocked.

What is different about the Meizu phone is that it isn't just copying the iPhone but trying to be better than the original iPhone.

This is a tall order considering the iPhone is already far ahead of its rivals.
