Apple iPhone reviews can vary wildly. One must distance oneself from all the surrounding hype and be wary of the Apple-haters who will point out every negative rather than looking at the positives. When the iPhone was announced, Steve Jobs said to expect 3 hings; 1. An incredibly cool cell/mobile phone. 2. The best iPod we've ever made. 3. The internet in your pocket. Well, the iPhone is the best iPod, I will grant him that. Holding between 1000-2000 songs, it hasn't the largest memory. However, it still has plenty of room for all your favourite tunes. But as a phone it is just like any other phone. As for internet browsing, it does makes some exciting advances for a handheld device. The safari web browser is great. So is the huge screen. When all said and done, it's the most advanced portable media player on the market. And it definitely has the cool factor. Although not perfect, it is years ahead of its competitors and looks like a sure-fire winner to me. Rivals are already trying to cash in on the success by bringing out similar phones. And with the add-ons Apple will release, I'm sure all the gripes people have will soon be rectified.
